1. Purpose of Tellerette packing
Tellerette packing has excellent features of
mass and heat transfer efficiency for gas absorption, air
conditioning, etc., it has been used as packing of high corrosion
resistance and low pressure drop with extensive application for Gas
Absorber, Cooling Tower, Deaerator, Reactor and other gas-liquid
contact systems.
2. Performance
"TELLERETTE" originated from spiral shape of
packing made of polyethylene under the license from Dr. Teller in
the 1960s. Since then, we have developed and improved the production
method by ourselves and the above kinds are available at present:

3. Characteristics
1) This form of packing is designed not to
provide downward liquid flow with dead spots but large effective
surface area per unit packing volume.
2) Excellent liquid distribution and uniformity
are obtained, because of a large number of branching and junction,
in addition to curve structure of the packing.
3) Reduction in pressure drop attained by
filament-shape with large void space enables fans or blowers to
require less electrical power (energy saving).
4) Packing made of synthetic resin means good
chemical corrosion resistance and increased structural strength.
5) Light weight means easy handling to fill in
and out.
